This ambitious programme is realistic and within reach. Without critical funding however, we run the risk of losing the momentum of our hard-fought gains and even backsliding.
The next strategic period will be a critical one for Gavi and represents a turning point in our history. With the political will and investment of countries, the ingenuity of Alliance partners, and the generosity of its donors, we can achieve a world where we can make vaccines work for all.
This is the time to build on the unprecedented gains from Gavi’s past investments and historical achievements to bring about continued acceleration of immunisation.
Its collaborative model brings the best resources in global health and immunisation together and can continue to use innovation to achieve even stronger impact. Now is not the time for complacency. Now is the time for renewed commitment to help countries prevent disease, protect their communities and, above all, prosper.
