WORK PERMITS

As an international organisation in Switzerland, we are able to recruit candidates from any country in the world. Our international employees will obtain a “Carte de légitimation” work permit that is tied to your employment at Gavi. In Washington DC, you will need a US passport or Green Card, although in some instances we may be able to apply for a H1-B visa.

PAID TIME OFF

All full-time employees receive 30 days of annual leave per calendar year. In addition, we observe 10 national official holidays that depend on the office location. Following the birth or adoption of a child, we offer 16 weeks of primary and 4 weeks of secondary parental leave.

HOME LEAVE

Gavi will cover the cost of travelling to their home country for all eligible international employees and their dependents every two years.

EDUCATION GRANT

An education grant towards tuition fees in international primary or secondary schools in Switzerland or Washington DC is available to all eligible international employees with children.

COMPREHENSIVE HEALTH CARE COVERAGE

Gavi facilitates continuous learning and development of new skills, knowledge and competencies. We do this through formal trainings, internal and external knowledge sharing activities and an e-learning platform.

The employee assistance programme gives all employees confidential access to expert advice to help resolve any personal or professional matters.

INTERNATIONAL RELOCATION AND REPATRIATION

Eligible international employees may benefit from relocation and repatriation assistance.
